Single Men Over 50
My name is Claudia and I'm a mother of two grown daughters. I'm 45 years old and looking for the man of my life. Just last year, I was convinced I needed a much younger man. I was driven by the new trend: mature woman seeks young man for marriage. A few famous women lead the way. So I sent my order to the universe: "I want a younger man who loves his wife the way French President Macron loves his!"
My order to the universe was sent off and I forgot all about my message to the angels. A few weeks later, I met a young man. 17 years younger than me, attractive, and he was after me. Little did I know that I had stumbled into a major disaster. Maybe a wake-up call that I needed in my life.
Because a young man also meant that I had to wipe the green from behind his ears. And "green behind the ears" is putting it kindly.
They have one clear plus: single men over 50: experience!
After I had left that unpleasant experience behind me, I looked ahead. When the first issues came up with the younger guy, I was deeply insulted. I was supposedly in the autumn of my life. Just as old and ugly. My reflection says otherwise, but I was deeply hurt anyway. It was now clear to me: look for an educated man who is a few years older than you and knows what he wants.
So I put my wish out to the universe again, and at the same time it was clear that I would put exactly that slogan on an online dating site, where the whole point was finding a partner and meeting men.
Single men over 50 have a clear bonus: they know what they want! And that's exactly how it turned out. Very quickly I had a decent selection of men who really appealed to me.
He came - he saw - and he conquered!
After two rather boring dates, it was my third date that knocked me off my feet. Third time's the charm! That's exactly how it was with him! Matthew, 51 years old, divorced, two grown sons, and self-employed. Our first meeting was a dream. We met at a lovely restaurant and lost track of time. We stayed in touch and met more and more often, with lots of emails and phone calls. He didn't overwhelm me. Everything was well measured, and over more than half a year we grew so close that after nine months, like a full-term pregnancy, we became a couple.
Right now we're already thinking about our next project: moving in together. We currently live 50 miles apart and are thinking about meeting in the middle, in Columbus. Neither of us can get away from work at the moment, and Columbus is simply a great city.
I'm happy that I realized who truly suits me. That I had the courage to sign up on a dating site and was able to end my search for a partner so successfully. I would do it again in a heartbeat!
