Several years have passed since my last relationship. I've had a successful and happy life so far, and yet something was always missing. I've traveled a lot, met many people and of course women, too. But somehow nothing ever developed from those acquaintances with women. There were many nice conversations, here and there we did something together, but that's not what makes me happy in life. I'm communicative and love experiencing a lot, but beyond that I'm looking for a woman who wants to accompany me through life and, ideally, shares many of my interests and views.

What sets me apart?

I'm a polite and outgoing person. Being at home every day, spending the time mostly alone, is not my thing. So I like doing a lot, whether it's a city break, going out to eat or winding down the evening in a nice bar, my interests are very varied. I also like working out. It's important to me to keep a decent figure. When it comes to food, I try not to give up anything, but I don't want to take in too much fat and too many calories either. A well-groomed appearance matters to me. Sweatpants and worn-out T-shirts aren't part of my style.

What qualities should you bring?

First, you should have a polite and communicative nature. Success and determination define you. Honesty is also very important. Without honesty, a relationship is worth nothing from my point of view. When it comes to doing things together, you should be flexible and open-minded. So it's important to me to find common ground. I'm not stubborn about it, either. If I want to go to the movies and you'd rather go to a concert, I won't insist on my wish, but will try to find an alternative with you. You just need to be honest, everything else is less important. What I do care about, though, is a positive outlook on life. I don't like pessimism and constantly gloomy thoughts. You can make something lovely even out of a gray winter day. Life simply has too many beautiful facets to discover.
